The ceremonial groundbreaking of Twenty Four Hundred took place on Tuesday, with sunny skies and a festive air! The long-awaited Brickhaus Partners development in Beachwood will feature 12 stunning modern townhomes designed by Horton Harper Architects. The site is conveniently located on Richmond Road, between Cedar and Fairmount. According to Andrew Brickman, Brickhaus founder and managing partner, the project should be completed by the end of this year, or early in 2018. He says that 5 homes have already been reserved. Pre-construction prices start at $539K. Incidentally, the city of Beachwood has low property taxes.
Each 2-level townhome is approximately 2,500 square feet, not including the 2nd floor terrace, 2 patios and a 2-car garage. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with master suites on the first floor. Vaulted ceilings and vast windows bring the outdoors inside. The creative and unique design of the covered terrace, off the living room on the 2nd floor, provides an ideal, private and protected outside entertaining space. As with all Brickhaus projects, Twenty Four Hundred is designed with energy efficiency in mind. Interior finishes are, as always, first rate: Bosch appliances, granite and quartz countertops, porcelain tile floors and showers in the bathrooms, etc.
Almost 50 guests attended the ceremony. They included Beachwood Mayor, Merle Gorden, members of City Council and of the Planning and Zoning departments. Hoby Hanna, president of Howard Hanna, was there, as were members of the Howard Hanna Blumberg Team, the exclusive realtors for Twenty Four Hundred. Champagne was served to honor the occasion, and everyone enjoyed an el fresco lunch.
